LĀ HOʻIHOʻI EA WORK DAY

Join us at the Kalaeloa Heritage Park for a community work day and celebrate Lā Hoʻihoʻi Ea by giving back to the ʻāina that sustains us! All ages are welcome so bring the ʻohana. Activities may include weed whacking, weeding, mulching, planting, and watering plants.

What to bring:

  • Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, long sleeve)

  • Thick-soled shoes (plenty kiawe thorns)

  • Water (we’ll provide light snacks!)

*Please note that we adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines as set forth by the City and County of Honolulu and the State of Hawaiʻi. To protect our kūpuna and our volunteers, please wear a mask while in the hale or near others who are not in your household. This work day is subject to cancellation at the discretion of park staff.
